Ultramarines 5th Company Project - Captain

So a few weeks ago I got the urge to build an Ultramarines army and figured I would start with the leader of the entire 1000 pt army i plan to build and then work from there. Even if I decided at a later time to not build the project I would still have a pretty sweet looking model for the display case. I have always love the Ultramarines and there whole story and color scheme. Now I know that the 5th company usually has green trim on there shoulder pads, but I felt it was necessary to kinda make this company my own. So I went with Gold instead. On the standard units I will be doing green trim on both pads, but he's the leader so he gets the special treatment. Now when I set out building this model I had a good idea of what I wanted him to look like, an awesome unique backpack, a cool banner, not the standard ones you usually see, and of course a sick power weapon, such as an Axe. So after I dug through my bits trays and found what i was looking for I built the model and what you see is what I cam up with. The it cam time to paint. Now I like adding gold trim to my Ultramarines, just think it looks better then the flat blue, so I will be doing this on every model.
The paint job took me a few days. I started with the blue of course. Then painted

Ultramarines & Dark Angels

Dark Angels Ravenwing 4 wheeler/ Quad - sold

After building a few of these a while back I thought I would give it a go again. Overall I am happy with how it turned out and it has an awesome Ravenwing feel to it. I have bits from all sorts of different kits and will be building more in the future. This one is going on Ebay but if you would like one built feel free to contact me. This would make a great addition to your Ravenwing Squads.
Converted & GS Dark Angels Terminator Captain - sold

On this models I made legs conver and Dark Angels armor plates to add some size to the model. The models ahs been painted in the pre-hersy Black Dark Angels style and all the additional armor plates are painted in Dark Angels green and the trim with bleached bone to tie in with the current colors of the army. The large symbol on the cape is hand painted. This would make a great addition to your Dark Angels army either as belial or as a captain.
Dark Angels Veteran with Lightning Claws and converted backpack - sold

Again with this model all the symbols are hand painted and the back pack has been converted to add to the Dark Angels theme. He would make a great commander or additional vetrean in your Dark Angels army.
Ultramarines Command Squad - Sold
Command Squad - Champion
Command Squad - Apothecary

This Ultramarines Command Squad was going to be used for my new marine army i was working on but I changed direction with the theme and army style so I have no need to keep them anymore. They are all based on Urban Themed resin bases. All the symbols are all hand painted on and are not transfers or decals. The back packs have also been converted to make them stand out as a Command Squad. They will go to a great home.

Ultramarines Primarch Roboute Guilliman

Well I finally got around to painting this model and was fun during the process. I built this model about 2 months ago and thought it was time to get on with putting the paint down. This model is about twice the size of a normal Space Marine terminator and fits the profile and size of a primarch. He will make a great additio to any Ultramarine Army. Hopefully he finds a new home after a small stint on ebay.

Limited Edition Captain Sicarius

What a sweet model! One of my friends mentioned that he had one of these, I asked him for and he kindly agreed, Thanks. Well when he gave it to me he was unable to find hi other lightning claw and banner so I had to improvise. I dug up one of the LC's from my bits that you get with the commander sprue and added theclaws from a terminators LC, there a little bigger. Also I added a banner and hand painted it to look similar to one he actually comes with. I was very happy with how this model turned out and haven't decided if I am going to part with it. I am trying to build an entire 5 man unit all with lightning claws using all different models and I only have 2 so far. Other then that I can't wait to paint another. More Ebay models in the next few days.
